Last night, I was introduced to two wonderful
organizations. One I knew about but hadn't seen perform,
the Inner Light Community Gospel Choir. The other, Willbridge,
I wasn't familiar with until last night. What an amazing
collaboration of two groups giving so much to the community!
The turnout was terrific, the speaking program thoughtful,
the slide show of the work done by Willbridge so very
touching, and the music moving to say the least! No one
could sit still, at least until the last piece, a medley
of "Silent Night" and "Until We Meet Again".
A perfect ending to a warm, sparkling evening attended
by so many who care about our homeless and now know they
really can do something to help, the medley "Silent
Night" and "Until We Meet Again" was a
beautiful, comforting departure from the program. I left
with the reaffirmation that, in this crazy world, right
here in our town, there are so many good, giving people,
great hope, inspiring music and that the magic of the
three together can do wonders. Thank you!
