Diane Kirkpatrick

Diane has been a member of Inner Light Gospel Choir since 1989. She has attended numerous GMWA conventions all over the country. Her zest for gospel music is visible.

Diane was raised in the Far East ultimately graduating from a missionary high school in South India. She returned to the U.S, from Bangkok to attend UCSB. She completed a M.A, in speech and hearing and served as a speech therapist in the schools for over 30 years.

She is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Barbara where she is an ordained Elder actively working in numerous facets of church life there. She is a certified spiritual director completing the Centerpoint program sponsored by Stillpoint. Church life is important to her. For numerous years she and her husband, Lee, taught a church school class at First Pres. for developmentally challenged adults. Through that experience she became involved with Greater Hope Missionary Baptist Church, which she considers to be her second church home.

Returning to the Board in 2005, Diane looks forward to being a contributing member of the Inner Light Community Gospel Choir Board of Directors.
