A Santa Barbara native, Rev. Peter Hernandez has been artistic director for the Inner Light Choir Community Gospel Choir since 2001. As a member of Inner Light since 1992, he learned singing gospel music at the feet of the founder, Bishop Mama Pat Patrick. Rev. Hernandez has studied music at SBCC and UCSB, and is a minister in good standing with the Celtic Church of America. He was a singer in Canticle a Cappella Choir since 2001, past President of the Beacon of Light Foundation and is currently a member of the Inter-Faith Ministers Alliance, Director of Santa Barbara Unity Church Contemporary Service and Unity Gospel Choir, Santa Barbara Treble Clef (an all women's choir) and singer/director in Mama's Voices, a tight praise & worship team specializing in spirituals and acapellas. |
